Designs, develops, maintains, tests, debugs, optimizes, secures, and/or evaluates OS Kernel and system software, including device drivers, virtualization, hypervisor, and/or other software technologies both open source and proprietary. Utilizes knowledge in software architecture, design, debug, development, operating system internals, and silicon on platform features.Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.Preferred Qualifications:- Track record of successful upstreaming of Linux kernel patches- Experience working with worldwide teams- Knowledge of Intel ArchitectureRequirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.We offer a total compensation package that ranks among the best in the industry.
