This role is part of Aerospace Advanced Technologies (AAT) serving Advanced Connected Solutions (ACS) RTC responsible for application and product related research projects. You will work as Antenna design lead engineer on new product concepts and ideas and work collaboratively with global research teams and develop innovative new products and design solutions. Some of the work includes Advanced Concepts Development, Rapid Prototyping and Integration. Typical areas include:
Demonstrate technical leadership in Antennas domain, deployments on NVIDIA and Intel chipsets for real time inferences.
1 - Demonstrate technical leadership in Antenna domain and end to end ownership of project from concept definition till deployment on hardware
3 – Be Self-Motivated in IP creation for the Product in the field of expertise.
· B.E/M.E / P.h.d n Electric/Electronics/Computer Science
· Responsible for System Definition, Architecture, Design and Implementation compact low profile antennas for satcom, radar, wireless Aerospace applications
· 5-7 years of experience in antenna design and development. Usage of EM simulation tools like HFSS, AWR with demonstrated results. Demonstrated experience in using HPC tools for antenna design and simulations
· Demonstrated experience in working with suppliers and building antennas in a fast-paced environment.
· Demonstrated experience in techniques to achieve 1 time success in POCs
· Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams defining the interfaces of antenna to rest of the sub-systems
· Demonstrated experience in creating test setups and writing test requirements and performing hands on tests of the antenna systems.
· Capable to generate new ideas flowing into the NPI/BTI phases.
· Being active in Patents and publications in antennas domain.
· Capability to ideate and establish in-house capex facilities required for successful completion of the current and future programs.
· Should be a result-oriented team player who contributes technically to the team while be able to effectively multitask
· Work with minimum supervision/oversight and is proactive
· Possess good understanding of business objectives and more importantly the ability to interact with our customers (internal and external).
· Able to identify and manage risks and opportunities.
· Must have excellent communication, collaboration and networking skills.
· Knowledge of SW skills would be an advantage.
· Effective interpersonal skills to develop good working relationships
· Recommend, participate and present or review in technical and program reviews
· Coordinate with System Engineers and Project Manager on product customization / project execution on a continuous basis
· Lead and work with team to solve complex technical problems related to defect detection, inspections and camera calibration, data fusion and target tracking
· Formulate and prototype new solutions and present new ideas and prototypes.
· Algorithm development for target tracking problems for perception using sensors like camera, lidar, radars.
