Responsibilities
- Leading software development by gathering functional / non-functional requirements,driving technical decisions, teaming and capacity planning.
- Lead design, product development of application frameworks, web tooling, appobservability and modern app development experiences
- Manage a team of ICs with focus on individual project priorities, deadlines anddeliverables
- Result oriented mindset with an affinity to produce high quality platforms
- Define, implement, and automate the continuous deployment of highly available,production workloads with zero downtime, along with operational metrics for monitoring
- Acting as the technical subject matter expert: Mentoring highly talented engineers whiledemonstrating technical expertise and drive solutions for challenging problems
- Experience with Agile Development, SCRUM, or Extreme Programming methodologies
- Engage with the open-source community, collaborate with third-party partners andcontributors
- Evangelize the product through blogs, social media, demos and presentations atconferences, and meet-ups
Qualifications
- MS in Computer Science, Data Science or equivalent work experience
- 7+ years of experience with at least 3+ years working as manager leading coreapplication development platforms and UI frameworks for business critical applications
- Experience building mobile platforms using at least three of Android, IOS, Swift, Java,React, Android, Backend automation
- Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English
- Relevant experience designing and developing scalable software
- Driven, motivated team player with a “Get the Stuff Done” mentality!
- Possess practical knowledge and appreciation of various aspects of distributed design,including messaging protocols, APIs, caching strategies and autonomous software designpractices
- Have extensive experience with metrics and logging libraries and aggregators, dataanalysis and visualization tools
- Passionate about data-driven decision making, as well as automating anything andeverything
- Excellent communication skills: Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issuesto both technical and non-technical audience
