Manager – Supply Chain Operations - Canberra

This role is based in Ngambri (Canberra).

Your key responsibilities

  • Deliver Digital Supply Chain solutions, including IT platforms, analytics and visualisation tools, warehouse and transport management systems, demand planning, blockchain, and automation/robotics technologies.
  • Apply expertise in Procurement and Asset Management within complex, large-scale organisations—driving improvements in sourcing strategies, asset reliability, and overall productivity.
  • Lead Operational and Manufacturing Excellence initiatives through end-to-end operating model design, continuous improvement, systems thinking, and methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Bring 3 to 5 years of recent operational or consulting experience in asset-intensive industries such as mining & metals, power and utilities, oil and gas, or capital infrastructure, with strong critical thinking and adaptability to learn new processes and identify client opportunities.
  • Demonstrate leadership by mentoring and motivating diverse client teams, fostering an inclusive and innovative environment, while effectively communicating your insights to senior executive audiences.
  • Manage project delivery by driving high-quality work on time and within budget, monitoring progress and risks, maintaining strong client relationships, and proactively identifying additional business development opportunities.
