As a Finance Controller reporting to the Director of EMEA Accounting, you will be part of a team that is responsible for statutory and US GAAP accounting (including oversight of the activities performed by the Shared Services organization), statutory reporting and filing, compliance with internal control and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements for EMEA, corporate compliance and controlling for the region, consisting of 21 countries and 26 entities.

- Review trial balances and financial reports to determine if any corrections are required via analytical review combined with in-depth review of specific risk areas.
- Perform variance analysis of balance sheet and income statement to identify potential errors.
- Review and approve balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Review accounting compliance with intercompany contracts as well as review all tax and social security expenses and income tax accounts to ensure completeness of information.
- Review and prepare audit documentation (including coordination and review of documentation prepared by the Financial Shared Service Center).
- Work closely with the other Controllers for forecasting of cash requirements and entity profitability.
To ensure you are set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:
- You hold a degree in a Higher Professional Economics/Accounting education or a university degree (Bachelor/Masters). Completion of the Accounting Certificate of the Ministry of Finance (Poland) or a CPA-equivalent education (such as ACCA/CIMA) is a plus.
- You have 3+ years of accounting/controllership experience, preferably in an international environment.
- Your background includes experience working with accounting systems, preferably Oracle Financials, OneStream, MicroStrategy and Windows-based software applications.
