In Qualcomm, you will work with a group of talented engineers to develop test solutions for design verification of highly integrated RF transceiver ICs. We work with Design, System, Foundry, Program Management, Yield, Reliability, Marketing, Sales and Manufacturing teams to commercialize new RF products. We are in global team setting, partnering with different internal stakeholders across different time zones that requires agility and flexibility.

The primary responsibility includes test HW and SW development, characterization plan development, design IP characterization, first silicon debug, process experiment (DOE) definition, multiple-source fab matching, data analysis, product documentation/presentation; driving failure analysis to completion, yield variance control. Apart from product & test development R&D, we’re also responsible for driving short-term and long-term test cost reduction and yield improvement to meet set goals without compromising production quality for multiple projects in parallel.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or related field is required.

Preferred Qualifications

Work Experiences:

  • 1+ years experience with hardware design and measurement instruments (such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, RF tools, etc) is preferred.

  • Fresh graduates with related education background and good GPA record are welcome to apply. The relevant courses may include Circuit Analysis, Digital Electronics, Analog Electronics, Integrated Electronics, Semiconductor Fundamentals, Communication Principles, RF & Microwave Engineering, Wireless Communications, Digital Communications, Statistics.

Skills:

  • Understanding of electronics engineering fundamentals, digital, analog, mixed-signal, and RF circuit analysis techniques.

  • Knowledge of RF transceiver for cellular applications and design verification of RF chips, understand basic test methodologies (e.g.: Gain, Noise Figure, Power, etc)

  • Basic knowledge of Semiconductor manufacturing process. Wafer fabrication fundamentals, quality and reliability testing are a plus.

  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

  • Hands on experience with test equipment (i.e.: power supplies, oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, power meters, vector network analyzer).

  • Able to work independently and with good initiative to overcome technical challenges.

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.

  • Knowledge with statistical analysis software package and techniques, quality, and reliability testing. Experience in Six Sigma Statistical Process Control is a plus.

  • Software skills (VB, Python, etc.) for big data analysis or machine learning techniques is a plus.
