Scope: Accountable for leading the eCom Financial Planning and Forecasting team to develop and maintain advanced processes that drive data-led decision-making and identify risks and opportunities to ensure adidas meets its digital market objectives.
- Business Planning
- Manage and own the end-to-end lifecycle of business planning and forecasting processes for the Europe eCommerce business.
- Participate in and lead part of the monthly Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process, providing the Finance team with realistic bottom-up forecasts to help them create official target submissions.
- Support the business with daily demand targets and month-end projections to enable better decision-making and optimize business plans.
- Support on identifying opportunities and determine actions to close gaps and achieve business goals and objectives.
- Develop and integrate automated models to reduce reliance on manual inputs.
- Master a deep understanding of business planning, target setting, budgeting, and campaign planning processes and data flows to effectively communicate, assess, and prioritize with stakeholders.
- Consulting
- Develop strong relationships with business partners to understand their goals and objectives, outline analytic requirements, and provide solutions to business needs, ensuring high-quality inputs for forecast processes.
- Actively identify opportunities and determine actions to achieve business goals and objectives.
- Provide ad-hoc analyses and build business cases to facilitate insights into the business as needed.
- Reporting
- Co-initiate and help implement new reporting structures within your area of responsibility.
- Ensure data accuracy and quality across all outputs provided by your team.
- Continuously innovate reporting and tracking systems to enable stakeholders to monitor sales predictions, potential shortfalls, and future uplifts.
- People Management
- Create a supportive work environment where employees are coached, trained, and provided with career development opportunities.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate team workload and organizational efficiency using data and team feedback, making appropriate changes to meet business needs.

- Passion for delivering data-driven recommendations that lead to quantifiable improvements in business results and consumer satisfaction.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex topics to stakeholders at various organizational levels, both in person and remotely.
- Strong analytical skills, capable of understanding and simplifying complex systems.
- Extensive knowledge of financial and operational processes, and KPIs.
- People management skills are a plus
- Extensive experience in business intelligence practices, including querying, enhancing, interpreting, and delivering moderate to large datasets (proficiency in SQL and coding skills preferred).
- Proficient in using ETL tools such as Alteryx, Knime, and SPSS Modeler.
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- University degree in the field of Business or equivalent
- 4+ years of experience in analytics field
- 7+ years of work experience
- Experience in eCommerce environment
- Experience in leading a team is a plus
