The MANUFACTURING QUALITY AND INSPECTION TECHNICIAN leads and performs inspection for raw materials of medical device related parts to verify products to meet specifications and free of damage or defects.

Key responsibilities/essential functions include:

• Inspect materials, products for conformance to specifications in compliance with documented procedures and in accordance with stipulated deadlines
• Proper dispositioning for products and material not meeting the specifications
• Report inspection results with those responsible and recommend corrective actions when necessary
• To maintain accurate and inspectable inspection results
• To establish and maintain good working relationships with suppliers
• Develop and maintain specialized technical expertise to provide support for existing products
• Drive LEAN implementation as required
• Comply with EHS regulations & policies
• To manage authorized Quality Control signatory
• May hold safety appointments for inspection environments

Quality Specific Goals:

• Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations
• Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
• Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
• Have knowledge and understanding of QC inspection procedures to ensure products conform to specifications
• Ensure the creation of accurate, complete, and timely records
