We work with major corporate and private equity clients, investment banks, large central government departments and other public sector bodies, advising them on complex strategic, commercial, financial and operational decisions and you’ll be an integral part of the team delivering on multiple projects.
Your key responsibilities
As a Manager within Data Analytics, you will spend your day to day constructing purpose-built databases as well as applying data wrangling tools and a wide range of programming languages to drive exceptional outcomes for our clients. You will manage multiple stakeholders, coach junior members of the team, and play a central role in the execution of complex projects.
Alongside project work, you will also serve as the Belfast team lead, supported by experienced Senior Managers and Directors, to provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of c.10 junior analysts. Your role will be crucial to ensuring their technical and professional development, whilst maintaining the high standard of service our clients expect.

To qualify for the role, you must have
- Qualification in Computer Science, Operational Research, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or highly numerate science.
- Strong experience in SQL Server and MS Excel.
- Experience using visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlikview.
- Highly numerate with a strong technical knowledge and experience of applying analytical and modelling techniques to provide insights to business issues.
- Ability to work with clients and model users to identify their particular use case requirements, to design appropriate solutions to load data, perform complex calculations, derive insights and deliver interfaces tools to provide repeatable visual output.
Ideally you will also have
- Experience in applying analytical techniques, to calculate problems such as predictive forecasting, prescriptive action, capacity planning.
- Good understanding of user experience (UX) design principles and strong visual creativity. Programming experience in VB, VBA, SQL stored procedures.
- Experience with cloud-based data warehouse environments.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as R, Python, Java, C# or C++.
