The candidate would participate in all phases of software development from requirements through implementation and security to operations. This includes designing and implementing a wide range of software using AWS stack, sometimes requiring partnership with low level embedded code software systems and architecting scalable design solutions for software distribution and deployment for satellites. - Software architecture and design
- Develop backend services using AWS stack - IAM, Lambdas, cloud - watch, api gateways, S3 storage
- Expand and improve Embedded build systems
- Improve AWS pipelines CDK for internal services
- Monitor and drive operational excellence for production services
- Have a strong security mindset

- 8+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 8+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team

- 8+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
