You will report to the Finance Controller, India Operations.

Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do

  • Financial Statement Preparation:
  • Prepare and manage financial statements in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards (IndAS).
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financials at month-end, quarter-end, and year-end.
  • Develop and maintain schedules for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for both India and US.
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger balance sheets using the Cadency Recon tool and generate ad hoc reports.
  • Audit Coordination:
  • Collaborate with external auditors during statutory, internal, and tax audits for both India and the U.S.
  • Manage audit timelines and ensure audit requirements are met within deadlines.
  • Facilitate communication between auditors and internal teams to ensure efficient information exchange.
  • Ensure compliance of all reports with SOX standards.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
  • Stay informed on changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure company’s financial practices comply with all relevant regulations.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
  • Analyze financial statements to identify trends and variances.
  • Provide insights and actionable recommendations to management based on financial data analysis.

What We'd Like to See

  • IN GAAP and US GAAP accounting standards
  • Hands-on experience with Finance modules in ERP systems - Oracle Cloud or SAP.

Role Essentials

  • CA Inter or ICWA Inter / CA Articleship with relevant experience
  • 3 plus years of experience in India Accounting, General Ledger, Payables, Intercompany, Receivables, Asset Management, Accruals, Prepaid Amortization, month-end activities, reconciliations, India statutory compliance, and Financial Reporting.
  • Flexible on work hours
  • To work in a team environment and understands how to access areas of risk
  • Customer focus both internally and externally
  • Excellent system skills in all Microsoft offerings and ERP system
  • Minimum 3+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong integrity and professional ethics.
