This role involves coordinating, supervising, and conducting field surveys, test excavations, and reporting. You will lead, mentor, and support other archaeologists while performing field assessments and artifact analysis. Collaboration with various disciplines within Jacobs, clients, and stakeholders is crucial, including building relationships with Traditional Owners and Registered Aboriginal Parties. You will also play a key role in business development by identifying, pursuing, and winning opportunities through client relationship management and proposal writing. You will be someone who strives for innovation, has outstanding project delivery skills, takes ownership of your projects, and loves to work closely with clients.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and supporting the delivery of Victorian Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Management Plans.
- Supervising and conducting heritage and significance assessments, and developing Cultural Heritage Management Plans.
- Managing project portfolios and preparing proposals for key clients.
- Ownership and responsibility for independently writing heritage reports and assessments, and preparing more complex reports with guidance.
