Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business/Business Law, Human Resources, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in labor relations, industrial relations, employee relations, and labor law.
- Ability to communicate in Japanese and English fluently, to support stakeholders in Japan.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience managing ambiguity and analyzing metrics to find root causes, identity opportunities, and adjust strategy accordingly.
- Experience working in complex corporate structures.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively across teams and act as a trusted advisor to all levels of management.
- Ability to combine strategic thinking with operational work to drive the implementation of concrete initiatives on the ground.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
