About the role
As the senior graphic designer, you will be responsible for working closely with the Studio Manager and the project manager in the Mexico City studio to intake project requests as they come in from HQ and will be primarily responsible for ad hoc creative requests that require craft and design thinking. You have excellent design craft, digital and print experience, and conceptual abilities. You’re fearless in trying new directions or techniques to create something new. You have your finger on the pulse of industry trends and best practices and are comfortable using technology and tools.
You will participate in digital campaigns, product launches, event experiences, and cohesive design toolkits. You'll design digital banners, e-books, email materials, social campaigns, webpages, presentations, print assets, and anything else our internal client or creative team at large needs. You'll also give your creative contribution to our world-class events, including Dreamforce, the biggest software conference in the world.
What you will do
Work closely with project managers and project requestors to understand the project scope and proactively ask pertinent questions when needed.
Constantly push the envelope while maintaining connective tissue to the Salesforce brand
Manage multiple projects for various clients, and work with project management to meet deadlines
Understanding of final production process as you will be often delivering work from concept to delivery.
Work as part of a global team across multiple locations and timezones
Have the willingness to learn and understand the business and industry of our internal clients and external customers
Work with both internal and external teams and collaborate directly with stakeholders
Follow creative direction and apply feedback as required
Give your contribution to improve creative processes and provide exceptional service to our clients
What experience you have
5-7 years of experience in advertising, design or corporate marketing.
A compelling portfolio of original work
Multilingual proficiency in English & Spanish
Knowledge of integrated campaigns, digital design, and events
Strong attention to detail with a focus on layout and typography
Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time, organize your work, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
Ability to work independently and leverage collaborative tools such as Slack to communicate async with a team based across multiple timezones
A Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or equivalent experience
Strong knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite:
