As a Senior Linux & Cloud Administrator and Pacemaker expert, you will be
The Last Line of Defense for troubleshooting complex Pacemaker software and Linux OS/ infrastructure issues across all platforms.
Deploy, Configure and Manage Pacemaker based HA clusters across various platforms.
Fine tune cluster configurations to optimize failover performance, resource availability and System resilience.
Troubleshoot complex Pacemaker software and Linux OS/ infrastructure issues across all platforms.
Identifying and resolving architectural and design issues in existing Pacemaker setup, developing automation to ensure stability and reliability of the environment to run business-critical systems of our customers.
Participate in Incident Management, troubleshoot service requests, resolve downtime extensions.
Develop and implement Backup/Recovery, DR and High Availability strategies for Critical workloads
Administer Linux Servers for performance, Patching and Troubleshooting.
Contribute to standardizing and simplifying server operations using software tools and automation (DevOps)
Colloborate with cross-functional teams for system integration, documentation and knowledge sharing.
To take the On Call / On Duty / Weekend task based on shift schedule.
Role Requirements:
10+ years of related professional experience
Advanced technical background of Linux based server operating systems, Certifications in Linux or SAP Technologies.
2-3 years’ experience in Linux HA clusters, preferably Pacemaker, with relevant trainings/ certifications
Practical experience with OS operation, upgrades, and security patching
Demonstrate advanced expertise in Cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, GCP.
Advanced knowledge in Hyperscalers network topics, including VPN, VPC, NAT gateways, and Security groups.
Good understanding of IT security, OS hardening
Experience in Scripting (e.g., Shell, Python, Go, etc.), Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Ansible.
Ability to create good documentation for junior colleagues to implement technical plans as per customer requirements.
Experience with server operations in large environments and/or in public clouds
Fluency in English language and the ability to work in global, multi-cultural teams is a key requirement.
