- Architectural designer responsibilities typically applicable to the role include but not limited to:
- Generate Architectural layout drawings and detail drawings for Architectural elements per project stage and requirements under the guidance of an Architect.
- Work with other team members, distribute, and incorporate requirements given into drawings and other deliverables.
- Perform updates to model and Architectural deliverables per client comments, other discipline requirements under direction of an Architect.
- Ensure Architectural deliverables are delivered within allotted work hour budget and agreed dates.
- Report deliverable progress and flag any project related concerns to lead Architect.
- Coordinate with other discipline project team members for engineering coordination and clash resolution.
- Travel for client meetings, presentations, project requirements or for short term assignments either within the country or internationally.
- Software related responsibilities typically applicable to the role include but not limited to:
- Aware of BIM software, BIM Standards and LOD levels its usage in Architecture and in relation to a project requirement.
- Working with other designers and Revit modelers in developing a BIM model that meets LOD requirements per design phases of the projects.
- Use the 3D model for extracting Architectural Plans, elevations, sections, drawings.
Participate and contribute to model clash resolution and continuous space management as the model and design progress.
