As an Associate in Client Services, you will gain an opportunity to have an exposure to asset class aligned new operating model, being implemented across wider teams. This will require partnership with representatives from across the organization including Business, Finance, Operations and Technology groups, as well as working with external stakeholders, i.e., vendors and market utilities.
Job responsibilities
- Update & review consultant databases / websites / Due Diligence Questionnaires with performance, assets, personnel, characteristics and other information of various JPMAM funds and strategies to support consultant sales team. Respond to consultants for customized requests regarding strategy performance, key statistics, holdings, benchmark, etc. Add/Modify products to consultant databases when requested, by liaising with product teams to gather required information.
- Completing various ad-hoc search requests, product additions and other tasks as assigned.
- Maintaining a high level of competency when reviewing data and reports, and quickly identifying both data and format issues.
- Ensuring database updates and reports are prepared on a timely basis with the highest level of quality and accuracy. Assisting the team in maintaining existing standard operating procedures, tools and workflows necessary to facilitate the process.
- Maintain effective communication in clear, concise and effective manner to ensure all information is available for the successful completion of projects and ensuring adherence to all governance and controls
- Support all aspects of maintenance and improvement of the processes, including opportunities to build efficiency and enhanced control measures.
- Support the wider team in achieving objectives, project, transformation and process improvement initiatives and collaborate with management in the review and challenge of team outputs
- Provide project management support to senior leadership in the development of future business opportunities
- Collaborate with subject matter experts in the business, project managers and technologists to articulate business rules, data models, and document and design processes
- Work in partnership with cross-functional SMEs to identify efficiency opportunities where business process optimization can be leveraged to reduce manual processes. Leading role in setting objectives and priorities, working as a proactive team player to deliver projects on time, providing quality assurance throughout project deliverables. Assess business impact and help prepare the business for change to resolve issues and provide support
Required qualification, skills and capabilities:
- Graduate/Postgraduate with at least 8 years of experience in Asset Management industry. Specifically Financial Services experience with extensive hands on experience who understands what data is required and how to normalize it.
- Prior experience in strategy consulting, financial service or Operations environment is highly preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Visio)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and capable of developing strong story boards to support senior management update
- Strong analytical ability, with experience in analyzing and synthesizing large data sets and business processes
- Exceptional organizational skills, be able to prioritize demands/tasks based on priority level
- Ability to map and understand complex workflows and business processes
- Ability to manage a large portfolio of projects to maintain velocity and ensure targets are achieved
- Strong understanding of project lifecycle, supporting documentation and control related requirements
- Demonstrate a good understanding of data analytics and visualization tools (Alteryx, QlikView, Tableau) to support development of automation opportunities would be added advantage
