Analyzes, creates and implements manufacturing and/or business process improvements that increase capacity, reduce lead-time, eliminate non-valued added, reduce work in process and improve fill rates.
Completes capacity analysis internally and/or at suppliers for headcount, equipment and space requirements using simulation software or other effective tools.
Designs, implements and maintains effective metrics with internal customers or suppliers to ensure unbridled supply is achieved.
Participates as a core member in cross-functional teams to quickly troubleshoot and eliminate product supply issues internally or at suppliers.
Makes recommendations to design teams, which drive higher yielding, lower cost, more manufacturable products. May use financial analyses tool and recommend alternative courses of action.
Deploy and support the use of corporate Lean tools and Metrics (Core Five Metrics, WCG, VSP, 5S, Lean Goals and Plans, etc.).
Convinces internal customer or suppliers to make fundamental changes to their manufacturing and/or business processes so that unbridled supply can be achieved.
Supports safety & ergonomic projects.
Leads Kaizen Events with large groups of people with the objective to increase line productivity & efficiency.
Develops improvement projects in the production lines to maximize footprint and release clean room space using CAD software.
May supervise, mentor or provide work direction to other members of the Industrial Engineering team.
Promote cross-functional and inter-site teamwork to accomplish shared objectives.
Fosters an Operation Excellence culture.
What We’re Looking For:
Degree in Industrial Engineering.
English Level desired: B2+: 80-89%.
Desired knowledge: Project Management, Simulation and Modeling, Lean Tools, IE systems and software, Facility layout and design with Autocad, strong excel knowledge.
PowerBI knowledge is a plus.
Experience with product transfers is a plus.
At least 3 years of experience in similar position.
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
