Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC's and your own success:
- Deliver operational excellence: Lead the business unit operational cadence including strategic planning, zero-based budgeting, operational reporting and team meetings; provide updates to BMC executive leadership and Board.
- Drive strategic projects: Provide program management support to ensure strategic alignment, key stakeholder engagement, and successful execution.
- Accelerate BMC productivity: Identify and prioritize opportunities that drive business objectives and outcomes. Manage the team roadmap process to achieve organizational goals.
- Enable collaboration: Establish close working relationships with BMC executives, colleagues, customers, and partners; lead through influence and foster productive working relationships.
To ensure you are set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:
- You have a minimum of 10 years of professional experience and a successful track record of managing business operations in the software industry.
- You hold a BA/BS degree in business, science, engineering or similar discipline preferred; MBA, MA, or other graduate degree a plus.
- You have a strong operational background with proficiency in financial and business performance analysis.
- You are familiar with modern software development practices (e.g., agile methodologies, microservices architecture, container management, AI/ML, and edge computing).
- You experience shows a proven track record of leading global cross-functional teams and driving change.
