Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop state-of-the-art compiler translations and optimizations targeting GPGPU
Investigate and prototype new optimizations to improve the performance and efficiency of GPU systems
Work with GPU HW architects to co-design/define new uArch features and ISA for future Intel Graphics Processors
Performance measurement and workload analysis to evaluate and improve the compilation technology on new HW features
Write technical specifications, design documents, and patent disclosures
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer science orComputer/Software/ElectricalEngineering
2+ years of experience in C/C++, object-oriented programming, and data structures
Experience in developing software on Linux and Windows OS
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Strong teamwork, problem-solving and influencing skills along with the ability to work with different geographical locations
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with compiler development: knowledge of compiler architecture, compilation phases, code optimizations, andperformance analysis
Design and development of a product compiler, e.g. in transformations,dataflow/control-flow/dependenceanalysis, optimizations, and code generation
Hands-on development of compiler tools, such as assembler, linker, debugger, etc.
Knowledge of 3D rendering pipeline using 3D/Compute APIs e.g. DirectX, DirectML, OpenGL, OpenCL, Vulkan, etc.
Thorough understanding of complex interactions between the API, OS, device drivers and vendor-specific hardware in a GPU SW stack on Windows and Linux
