Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience in Dense Wave-Division Multiplexing (DWDM) or TCP/IP or system design operations methodology.
- Experience with fiber types and their application, physical fiber characteristics, and standard testing tools (e.g., OSA, BERT, OTDR).
- Experience in telecommunications, particularly at carrier class scale and with optical network infrastructure, transmission systems, layer2/3 routers and data services.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in developing and implementing automation solutions for network deployment or similar processes.
- Experience with process improvement or process engineering methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
- Experience in telecommunications, particularly at scale with a strong working knowledge of large network infrastructure, optical transport systems, routers, third-party leased network assets and installation vendors.
- Proven ability to navigate ambiguity, lead technical projects, prioritize and manage project timelines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to travel up to 50% as needed.
