As the Molecular Imaging (MI) Training Leader for GE HealthCare PET/CT, SPECT and SPECT/CT, you will develop continuous learning programs to increase the knowledge and effectiveness of the sales organization. The MI Training Leader manages, plans, coordinates, and leads all commercial sales training elements for MI in the USA and Canada (USCAN). You will deliver training for new hire and experienced sales staff. You will tailor the training plan for USCAN MI and the system offerings. You will create a solutions portfolio training strategy to align with USCAN University Learning Management System. This position reports to the Sr. Director of Strategy for Molecular Imaging.
Training Development
- Developregional trainingstrategy, content,and tools,baseduponPET/CT, SPECT/CT, SPECT and Digital MIproduct capabilities,valuepropositionandsolutionspositioning aligned with MI Product Management and Marketing.
- Collaborate routinely with sales leadership to understand training needs and competency gaps related to GE HealthCare MI products
- Facilitate and/or support training associated with new product launches
- Alignment with leadership & business priorities to support product training initiatives
- Collaborate with marketing and the training team/instructional designer to develop useful and impactful pre-work, trainings and assessments for new hire and legacy sales employees
- Periodically reassess existing courses to ensure content is up to date, relevant and effective
- Partner with Imaging learning and development team to share best practices and help drive broader learning and development strategy
Training Delivery
- Facilitate in-person and virtual instructor led training programs primarily for GE HealthCare general Imaging sales and MI sales roles
- Deliver comprehensive on-boarding/training program to accelerate learning and optimize the time to results for sales hew hires
- Conceptualizes and delivers programs leveraging a blended learning approach (e-learning, classroom facilitation and virtual classroom) and incorporate deliberate practice/application and reinforcement into the curriculum to ensure learning is impactful and effective
Evaluation
- Maintains Training Attendee records and statistics
- Conduct post training learner knowledge/competency assessments to measure program effectiveness and recalibrate it based on feedback to improve satisfaction, knowledge transfer, behavior change, and business results
- Communicate knowledge/competency assessment outcomes to the hiring managers and mentors with recommendations for additional learning support and coaching throughout the onboarding program
- Work with the training department administrator to schedule training programs
- Coordinate with subject matter expert presenters who deliver technical product training
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 5+ years of diagnostic imaging sales, training, education or marketing experience
- PET and/or SPECT imaging experience
- Strong influencing skills
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Strong analytical and process skills
- Excels at building rapport and working cross-functionally, multi-tasking, organization, and time management
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (e.g. Power Point) preferred
- Project Management and priority-setting skills
- Situational Adaptability
- Approximately 30% travel required.
Desired Characteristics:
- 10+ years of experience in Molecular Imaging training, product marketing or sales
- Proven ability to lead projects and to be appropriately assertive with the business stakeholders when recommending product training strategy and programs that will result in highly impactful learning which develops product knowledge and sales execution
- Deep training expertise in utilization of learning techniques
- Experience with utilization of Learning Management Systems and learning platforms
- Healthcare Molecular Imaging product/industry acumen
- Peripheral vision to nurture creative ideas and innovation
