Over the past two years we have been working on further growing our business by supporting current clients in new regions and attracting new clients. This growth is adding larger, international projects to our portfolio.
The Civil Engineer will function as a system owner and is technically responsible for:
- Architectural internal and external design;
- Civil design - Underground networks design and coordination;
- Landscaping design;
- Coordination with external Consultant or Agency.
Here's what you'll need
- Degree in Civil Engineering;
- 4+ years of experience in the specifications, engineering, design and construction with EPC/EPCM consulting firms;
- Experience in Pharmaceutical, Industrial and Buildings business would be an asset;
- Responsibilities as a Deputy or Lead Engineer on medium sized projects or Area Lead on large sized projects with technical support and leadership;
- Multi Office Design team coordination, promote workshare execution with other Jacobs Offices and coordinate it;
- Knowledge in local and international technical codes;
- Knowledge and capability to work with BIM/2D Civil/Architectural software (Revit, AutoCad, Civil3D, etc.);
- Performed studies and execution of project design activities;
- Coordination skills to coordinate civil project with other technical disciplines for their area of responsibility;
- Capability to ensure consistency and integrity of CSA design throughout project and review design for logic and functionality;
- Capability to develop detailed civil specifications for the project. Inquire, evaluate, and prepare purchase requisition of civil works and sub-contracts;
- Capability to define and develop the work share scope of work and execute effectively the work as per project requirements;
- Availability for international job assignments;
- Fluent English and Italian;
- Construction site experience will be a plus.
