As an Architecture Advisor, your responsibilities will focus on the following key areas
Architecture Management Responsibilities
- Assess current customer SAP solutions and identify opportunities for accelerated adoption, consumption, and portfolio expansion.
- Collaborate with customers throughout the Customer Value Journey as a trusted member of the SAP account team.
- Define business and IT architectures in alignment with SAP, the customer, and partners to ensure consistency and value-driven solutions.
Creating an SAP Architecture Vision for the Customer
- Develop customer demand through thought leadership and solution positioning.
- Map customer business processes to SAP’s industry reference architectures.
- Understand the customer’s current enterprise landscape, envision the future state, and align with SAP’s standard cloud solutions.
- Advocate for plug-and-play cloud architectures to meet the customer’s transformation goals.
Building Key Customer Architecture Deliverables
- Define business architectures and capability mappings, translating them into solution designs.
- Ensure feasibility and alignment of IT capabilities with SAP solution architecture.
- Create and refine cloud transformation roadmaps with both business and application focus areas.
- Develop hybrid transformation strategies that incorporate standard cloud technologies.
Being a Trusted Advisor
- Maintain a living roadmap aligned with the customer’s evolving needs and SAP’s portfolio evolution.
- Govern and adapt roadmaps based on customer feedback and solution adoption progress.
- Drive solution expansion by articulating value and linking to SAP’s broader portfolio offerings.
Experience & Educational Requirements
Experience
- 8+ years of professional experience in IT Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, or related roles.
- Proven experience in leading successful digital transformation initiatives for enterprise customers.
- Demonstrated expertise in solution design, business process analysis, and capability mapping.
- Strong background in Cloud technologies, including SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, and hybrid cloud architectures.
- Solid track record of managing large-scale customer engagements with measurable business outcomes.
- Experience in customer-facing roles such as Sales, Pre-sales, Consulting, or Business Development.
- Industry-specific knowledge and prior work experience in [specific industry, if required] are a plus.
- Proficiency in SAP solutions, particularly SAP Cloud Suite, RISE with SAP, or S/4HANA, is highly desirable.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, SAP IEA-10, or similar Enterprise Architecture credentials are an added advantage.
- Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture Management (EAM) tools (e.g., LeanIX, ARIS etc.) is beneficial.
