As an Asset Analyst in Asset Servicing Operations, you will be responsible for Income and Corporate Actions operations and ongoing remediation activities across the product and service offering.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of all Asset Servicing processes, including Income and Corporate Actions.
- Set up daily accruals in asset servicing systems and ensure their timely settlement in a controlled manner.
- Identify and repair exceptions to ensure the timely projection of income accruals and settlement in the client’s liquidity portfolio and Investment Book of Record.
- Perform control checks to ensure any missing accruals are set up promptly.
- Understand regulatory requirements by collaborating with Risk & Control, Compliance, Industry groups (ISDA/Equities/DTCC), and internal stakeholders.
- Follow end-to-end control processes diligently.
- Identify and recommend process and system enhancements.
- Deliver a controlled environment for Asset Servicing successfully.
- Ensure all controls and checks are completed by the end of the day.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of Investment Banking (IB) products, including Income and Corporate Actions, Trades, and Reconciliations, along with a strong grasp of market regulations and nuances. You must have at least 3 years of experience and hold at least a Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Exhibit strong business analysis skills to dissect complex asset servicing events across multiple jurisdictions, and apply effective problem-solving skills to identify, understand, and resolve operational and technical issues.
- Communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, to build relationships with various stakeholders, including Senior Business executives.
- Maintain a control mindset to identify process control gaps, prioritize, and mitigate operational risk.
