What will you do?

• Develop and maintain software to automatically provision, upgrade, monitor, and heal Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform.

• Work with technical leads and the business to understand feature requirements. Help break requirements down into smaller units of work.

• Contribute to all aspects of product delivery, including design/architecture, development, testing, documentation, and deployment.

What will you bring?

• Passion for automation and an excitement to automate all the things

• Knowledge of Linux, system administration, shell scripting and source control system fundamentals

• 3-5 years experience with a modern programming language, such as python or go, utilizing concepts like parallelism, concurrency, and polymorphism

• Experience with Kubernetes, Cloud providers, and REST APIs principles

• Knowledge of infrastructure systems and networks; experience with distributed systems

• Customer empathy with clear understanding of how automation of repetitive tasks provides business value

• Good written and verbal communication skills in English

The following are considered as a plus:

• Proven track record of delivering complex features in a golang environment

• History of integration with third party providers, leveraging APIs and implementation of abstraction layers

• In-depth experience with public Cloud providers and Terraform

• Demonstrated knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), including administration and management

• Familiarity with ansible and its ecosystem catalog

• Demonstrated history of open-source projects contributions

• Previous experience leading development of new product functionality from story discovery through to implementation, testing, and deployment.
