Role Specific Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Jacobs’ Relationship-Based Sales (RBS) methodology: Support sales processes and close-out procedures to comply with requirements for SOX and ISO certification, as required. Particularly in relation to governance and recording of Go/No-Go and Bid/No Bid decisions and Green Reviews
- Research and Analysis: Develops new or updates existing sales qualification materials for current and future pursuit efforts to maximize quality and efficiency of sales document preparation
- Sales and Marketing Materials & Knowledge: Develop and maintain materials including project descriptions, experience matrices/overviews, and capability statements. Work with Operations to capture and develop performance proofs and client testimonials
- Opening Game (Client Focused): Support Sales Leads and Operations in key Opening Game activities, e.g. client, competitor and market research, development of documented Core Client Strategies, participation in 10:1s, call planning, development of Executive Summaries and White Papers
- Middle Game (Pursuit): Actively work with Sales and Operations to develop, implement and monitor Middle Game actions, using Client Success Platform (CSP) [Salesforce] & SharePoint.
- End Game (Bids and Proposals): Work with designated response teams members to develop opportunity response plans in alignment with our Relationship Based Sales (RBS) process.
- Preferably Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Business or any technical / related discipline from a College or University.
- Quick comprehension and a critical, analytical thinker who connects the dots and comes up with insightful ideas to continually and sustainably achieve work and clients.
- Ability to facilitate teams in developing and maturing fit-for-purpose, client-centric solutions in all submissions and external / outgoing deliverables
- Organized and heightened attention to detail - able to effectively harness others’ strengths and expertise to deliver desired outcomes, working well with all types and levels of people. Excellent writing and editing skills with an eye towards sales messaging, themes, proposal aesthetics, quality, and content. Flexibility and capability to work multiple projects with tight deadlines. Excellent English verbal and written professional communication skills.
