As part of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Enterprise Risk Analytics & Stress Testing is responsible for Enterprise Stress Testing with Legal Entity Oversight (LEO), Material Legal Entity (MLE) Stress Testing and ICAAP execution and oversight, Firmwide Scenario Design and Expansion which cover Enterprise programs and all Legal Entities.
What you’ll do:
- Lead execution of Enterprise-wide stress testing Consent Order Program including early identification, quantification, and mitigation of any execution risks. Oversee, review, and challenge the execution effectiveness.
- Lead engagement with Internal Audit and Regulators for validation of the stress testing program including leading closure of any gaps identified during the process.
- Develop a deep understanding of the Target State and Outcomes for the Stress Testing Book of Work, and each project within it, for the assigned portfolio of projects.
- Oversee coordination with cross-disciplinary teams for clear definition and achievement of all project requirements related to stress testing. Ensure deadlines and schedules are met and provide broad exposure to senior stakeholders across risk management departments including Risk Reporting, Data Analytics and Technology.
- Support various strategic enhancements relating to execution of Internal stress tests run within the Group working very closely with Group Leads including presenting the key findings in a concise visual form for Citi’s senior top management.
- Collaborate closely with the Other Risk areas, Risk Reporting, Data Analytics and Technology departments to streamline procedures, improve risk management strategies, and enhance the accuracy and efficiency of Stress tests. Oversee the implementation of these processes and challenge any inefficiencies, promoting a proactive approach to risk management throughout the organization
What we’ll need from you:
- Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred with solid years of experience.
- Working experience in Stress Testing or good understanding of Global Regulatory landscape (e.g. Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR) and experience in conducting macroeconomic/market stress tests, allowing effective review and challenge of compliance and risk management strategies.
- Exposure to leading regulatory inspections and audits within a financial services company, enabling effective oversight and challenge of compliance processes.
- Project management experience, with a record of successfully overseeing, reviewing, and challenging collaborative efforts to meet project milestones and deadlines.
- Commercial awareness and knowledge in the field of risk management, providing a solid foundation for oversight, review, and challenge.
- Understanding of various risk categories, including Financial and Non-Financial risks, facilitating comprehensive oversight, review, and challenge of risk management strategies.
- Superior problem-solving capabilities with a 'can do' attitude, supporting effective challenge under tight timelines.
- Strong communication and presentation skills for clear explanation and challenge of complex topics.
