This position involves frequent lifting of materials and products (of up to 18 kgs). Responsibilities include manual tasks, such as assembling, addressing, stamping and arranging for the shipment of merchandise and materials. They will also coordinate daily scheduling of deliveries and collections to and from multiple locations. In handling incoming shipments, they will have to unpack boxes and verify contents. The Logistics Specialist will be required to keep precise records of all commodities going in and out of company locations.Key job responsibilities
- Working closely with Data Center Operations Technicians and Data Center Engineers to fulfill parts quickly and accurately.- You will be responsible for the data entry and resolving questions from peer organizations.
- Maintaining up-to-date metrics dashboards and create reports for internal and external suppliers and management as required.
- Assembling, addressing, stamping and arranging for the shipment of merchandise and materials.Safety:

- Prior experience as a logistics professional supporting inventory cycle counts, shipments, maintenance, stock control functions and reverse logistics
- Valid driving license
- Experience of working within a complex logistics set-up. Experience in Data Centre environment is a plus
- Experience with Inventory Management Systems and tools
- Good knowledge of IT and network equipment
- Ability to travel up to 50% to multiple sites to support business requirements within 30 miles of London Heathrow Airport.
