Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Designing and implementing end-to-end solutions
- Influencing product decisions and scope
- Identifying and addressing technical debt- Participating in code reviews
- Staying up to date with industry trends
You will immerse yourself in a world where we work on classifying different forms of music, and create interactive experiences to help users discover the music they are in the mood for.You will be part of a squad in Berlin that improves existing customer experiences and incubates radically new experiences that multiply the impact of our machine learning capabilities.You will collaborate with scientists and backend engineers on algorithms to pick the perfect tracks, albums, playlist and stations to play, and build infinitely scalable data stores to help drive those experiences.

- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
- Experience leading the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
- Experience in professional, non-internship software development
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
