As an Equity Strategist Assocaite on our Global Research team, you must have strong writing and quantitative skills with an interest in financial markets. Our investment views focus on macro (global economy, central bank and fiscal policy, commodities, FX) and micro themes based on industry trends. While broadly distributed publications are the most visible part of our efforts, the team spends a significant amount of time working with internal and external clients. You will be part of the Global Macro QDS team composed of strategists across the globe.

Job Summary

• Responsible for supporting the team with building and updating financial models and databases
• Writing research
• Putting together bespoke analysis for internal and external clients

Required qualifications. capabilities, and skills

• Excellent communication skills are a must (writing in particular) given daily interaction with clients and internal partners (Sales & Trading, Research)
• Maintain and build fundamental models and analytical infrastructure and be proficient in adding new functionalities
• Complete Proficiency in Excel and knowledge of financial platforms such as Bloomberg, Factset, Capital IQ
• Proficiency in programming languages

• Proficiency with Matlab, R, and/or Python
