Job Description

The Position

The role is to design, develop & maintain software systems around Public Cloud, Data Center Networking, Domain Name & Addressing Services, and Network Firewall Services.

Our tech stack consists of cloud native services (serverless, API gateways, databases, etc), Ansible, Terraform, Python, GitHub Actions and GitHub.

What will you do?

• Develop self-service automation solutions within a Global Network Services Organization.
• Develop, maintain & support Python code.
• Develop, maintain & support Ansible playbooks.
• Advance existing IaC framework to satisfy new demand.
• Develop efficient ways to deploy & run automation solutions.
• Participate in network automation community of practice.
• Become a point of contact for selected product.
• Participate in evaluating new technologies and tools.
• Cooperate closely with Network Infrastructure Engineers, Software Developers, and
  a variety of Global Stakeholders.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution OR equivalent relevant working experience.

• Skilled in designing solutions that address complex integration challenges while considering scalability, security, performance, and maintainability.
• Understanding of IP-based communication networks (CCNA level, actual certification not required).
• Understanding of network management and network operations.
• Practical experience with DevSecOps.
• Solid understanding of Ansible and Configuration as a Code concept.
• At least an intermediate experience in Python.
• Solid understanding of AWS offerings and how they can be used in solution design.
• Hands on experience with Infrastructure as a Code.
• Strong willingness to keep learning new technologies.
• Able to establish good working relationships globally and collaborate with networks of employees at all levels.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate and present to both technical and non-technical business audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience in network configuration.
• Knowledge of ITIL framework.
• Practical experience with SDLC.
