How you’ll spend your day
  • Responsible for tender submission includes but not limit to: quotations creation, tender evaluation, tender documents preparation and submission as well as prepare pricing proposal etc

  • Coordinate input from all relevant stakeholders and facilitate all appropriate approvals for Contract / tender submissions

  • Ensure accuracy, consistency and timeless of Contract/Tender submissions

  • Regularly track the execution and impact of activities and performance of Key Accounts

  • Execute the Account plan and facilitate communications with all in-field functions interacting with the Key Accounts to ensure consistency

  • Develop and foster excellent professional and business relationships with Hospital Authority stakeholders via regular visit as well as different communication channels

  • Support where appropriate, negotiations and/or support the contracting and tendering process and the development and delivery of proposals

  • HA tender inventory level monitoring

  • Release control for short-supply product(s)

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders in order to manage complaints from CPO and hospitals

  • Maintain a master database of Contract/Tender pricing, success status, competitor outcomes and prices to aid in submission decision making

  • Maintain timetable for all expected tenders/contracts

Your experience and qualifications
  • Bachelor Degree in related fields (Science, Pharmacy, Business Management)

  • Minimum 2 years of related experience as Key Account Specialist at an MNC Pharmaceutical company

  • Have held responsibility for the Hospital Authority

  • Minimum 3 years of combined industry experience

  • Field experience in pharmaceuticals is preferred

  • Experience in tender submission process

  • Experience in multiple therapeutic areas (preferably Oncology, Central Nervous System, CV/Cardiovascular, Women’s Health)

  • Have knowledge with the Hospital Authority

  • Proficient in English and Chinese (spoken and written)

  • Good knowledge of pharmaceutical industry

  • Good networking with healthcare professionals and others

  • Good communication skills

  • Strong planning capabilities

  • Positive mind-set and proactive

  • Ability to work independently

  • Energetic, passionate, self-motivated

  • Results oriented and entrepreneurial

  • Openness to change and ability to think out of the box

  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment
