Required Qualifications:

  • 9+ years of related technical engineering experience
    • OR Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience or internship experience
    • OR Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience or internship experience
    • OR Doctorate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 3+ years technical engineering experience.
  • 9+ years of experience in ASIC/SoC Architecture, Design or Verification

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of network protocols and applications
  • Knowledge of CPU, Cache Hierarchy, & SoC architecture/design
  • Team player with excellent communication skills and the desire to take on diverse challenges
  • Experience in Ethernet, TCP/IP, RDMA, MAC/PCS, Networking blocks

Responsibilities

As a member of the verification team, you will be responsible for independently creating leading edge verification environments and simulation testbeds, to validate and ensure functional correctness of innovative designs. Leveraging standard simulation tools, such as ns3 or OMNeT, you will develop traffic generators and implement accurate models of the protocols and devices to inform and influence the architectural and design directions.
