Eligibility requirement
* Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
* Candidate must be a national of an EU member state and residing in the EU to operate the AWS European Sovereign Cloud.
* Amazon will provide relocation support for successful applicants relocating within the European Union.
* Employees will participate in an On-Call rota.Key job responsibilities
In this role you will work closely with the software development and product teams to deliver high quality, scalable products deployed around the world. You will collaborate with the product teams to deliver the best product with most efficient use of resources and technologies. You will work with all the stakeholders to assemble project teams, assign responsibilities, identify appropriate resources needed, and develop schedules to ensure timely completion of projects by meeting project milestones. You will also assess risks, anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, make tradeoffs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints and encourage risk-taking behavior to maximize business benefit. Successful candidates will have a technical background, be detail driven and have excellent problem-solving abilities.About the team

- This role requires you to be a national of an EU member state
- Demonstrated experience managing technical programs across cross-functional development teams, building processes, coordinating release schedules and exposure to software development processes and teams.
- Proficient in project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management.
- Proficient leading the creation, revision, and/or improvement of standard operational procedures (SOPs) and driving operational best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
