Information Security (Info Sec) -
Your key responsibilities
- Hires, evaluates, and supervises crew. Provides guidance and training as necessary to develop crew. Sets performance standards, reviews performance, and makes informed compensation decisions in accordance with all applicable Human Resources policies and procedures.
- Provides full strategic ownership for delivering software releases relating to the product for the business units, managing the testing, evaluation, and selection of IT vendor products. Works with business clients to determine scope, and develops and implements environmental requirements for each project.
- Develops and implements staffing and operational plans. Effectively leverages various staffing options and manages a global workforce. Develops and implements short and long term department goals and ensures alignment with the overall strategy. Monitors service delivery metrics and overall performance.
- Develops and implements changes to department policies and procedures to meet changing business needs and to achieve department objectives. Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement and implements appropriate strategies and technologies for building products and delivering services.
- Leads quality initiatives to improve the delivery of service levels. Plans, develops, and executes short and long-range goals to ensure divisional success.
- Develops and maintains relationships with key stakeholders to provide long-term collaborations and deliver successful business outcomes.
- Reviews expenses and ensures department operates within budgetary guidelines. Leads the strategy and execution to build, buy, and integrate business technology solutions.
- Ensures staff complies with information technology and information security policies and procedures, and verifies that deliverables meet requirements.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
- Oversees the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects, ensuring alignment with the organization's business objectives and strategic goals.
- Develops comprehensive project plans, sets timelines, allocates resources efficiently, and manages budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
- Leads cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and effectively communicating project progress and updates to stakeholders.
- Identifies potential risks throughout the project lifecycle and implements strategies to mitigate them, ensuring smooth project delivery.
- Enhances cybersecurity frameworks by integrating advanced security measures and best practices into IT projects to safeguard company data and assets.
- Monitors and evaluates project performance against goals, adjusting plans as necessary to maintain alignment with business priorities.
- Manages vendor relationships and third-party service providers, ensuring timely and quality deliverables within project scope.

To qualify for the role, you must have
- Minimum 12 years of experience in IT delivery, project management, or technology leadership roles, with expertise in software implementation and team management.
- Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master’s degree in Technology, Business Administration, or equivalent preferred.
- Proven experience in IT project planning, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and enterprise software delivery.
- Strong knowledge in vendor management, risk mitigation, and budget control.
- Experience in cybersecurity principles and integrating security best practices into IT solutions.
- Strong communication and leadership skills for managing cross-functional teams and external vendors.

- Strong verbal and written communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Be highly flexible, adaptable, and creative.
- Comfortable interacting with senior executives (within the firm and at the client)
