Description
Main responsibilities include:- Design, develop, deploy, and manage relational column tables in production environments, ensuring high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery.- Design, implement and optimize SQL stored procedures, views, data pipelines, issue detection and resolution, and log analysis.- Implement column and row level security for access.- Lead the development of data pipelines to cloud environments such as Snowflake.
Key Qualifications
- 5+ years of solid background in SQL, database application development and/or developing ETL pipelines.
- Should be able to troubleshoot in various RDBMS technologies and do root cause analysis of issues.
- Must have strong understanding of Massively Parallel Processing databases and column storage.
- Strong experience in Data Modeling, SQL performance tuning, and reporting is required, preferably using SAP HANA.
- Proficiency in Python and/or Shell scripting is essential, with a demonstrated ability to migrate mission-critical applications to cloud environments.
Education & Experience
BS Degree in Computer Science or equivalent

- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $170,700 and $256,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
