Boston Scientific Accountant II

You're Responsibilities include:

  • Performs month-end close process and acts as liaison with several supported sites.
  • Compiles and analyzes financial information through preparation of reports and general ledger journal entries.
  • Assures financial accuracy for all supported sites and supports all legal entity closings on a monthly basis.
  • Takes an active interest in seeking opportunities for continuous improvement, standardizing processes across multiple legal entities.
  • Builds and maintains relationships throughout the organization.
  • Establishes and communicates accounting processes by maintaining a thorough understanding of GAAP and new accounting guidance as appropriate.
  • Implementation and maintenance of internal controls. Ensure adherence to internal policies and best practice policies.
  • Partners with E&Y and SOX management team to fulfill audit requests.
  • Works to deliver upon key performance metrics and service levels agreed with business partners and management.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent.
  • English Level +95%.
  • 2 years’ relevant experience.
  • SAP Experience a plus.
  • Payroll accounting experience a plus.
  • Open to working across global time zone.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Must have highly developed customer relationship skills with strong service orientation.
  • Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Experience working in shared service environment preferred.
  • Holds self-accountable to a performance metric culture building performance excellence.
  • Inquisitive and takes an active interest in opportunities to improve the efficiency of work.
