Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Experience understanding, interpreting and implementing CBA’s for applicability to payroll processing
Utilizing payroll systems, to manage and oversee payroll processing activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local and international regulations.
Provide internal support for payroll inquiries, employee records, and tax filings.
Track and report payroll metrics, analyze data, identify trends, and implement improvements as needed.
Monitor and support compliance efforts, such as tax reporting, statutory deductions, and employee benefits.
Communicate with related parties such as HR, Finance, and external auditors, analyzing data, identifying trends, and resolving payroll issues.
Maintain thorough knowledge of all business systems, processes, and procedures, providing training to other team members when requested.
Perform other related duties as delegated by the Payroll Operations Team.

Job Specifications:
Advanced computer proficiency in Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, PPT, MS Teams). Previous experience with payroll systems such as SAP, Oracle ERP, ADP, or similar is an advantage.
Ability to identify issues and root causes, using judgment to provide solutions to complex problems and identifying potential improvements.
Quickly and effectively adapts to new systems, processes, and policies.
Ability to remain calm under pressure.
Exercises analytical skills within generally defined practices, using a variety of sources to find solutions.
Strong attention to detail and results-oriented.
Excellent multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and respond to ad hoc requests as needed; able to make quick and accurate decisions.
Demonstrable communication skills, able to communicate clearly and accurately in multiple languages, whether in person, written, or via teleconference.
Collaborates openly, respectfully, and inclusively, building trusting relationships within teams and with employees to explain issues, gain insights, and develop connections. May represent the department as a prime contact for special projects.
Accounting background and extensive experience working on statutory audits
Education/Experience:
Requires a minimum of 10+ years of related experience in payroll operations in a multi-national company.
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business Management, HR, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience in leading teams and managing people.
Ability to focus on details, multitask, and perform activities timely with quality output.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn and upskill with tools such as Tableau, Power BI, etc.
Flexible for evening calls for HQ reviews and transition calls on a regular basis.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in multiple languages (English/German)
