Required Qualifications:

• Several+ years technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration
  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND Few+ years technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration
  • OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND Few+ years technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration.
• Knowshow software builds and deploys to the cloud using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Few+ years of technical experience in software engineering or systems administration.
• Git, Base knowledge of and experience with the tool.
• Experience measuring code quality and test coverage.
• Experience writing and running PowerShell or Bash scripts that apply a bunch of changes over API.

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

• Microsoft Cloud Background Check : This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Few+ years of working with Azure Cloud infrastructure (deploying services, host Azure Functions, App Services, secure secrets store, service, and user authentication).
• Several+ years ofexpertisein software development using Python or C#, and maintenance of them in a cloud 24/7.
• Know how to avoid main pitfalls in building CI/CD pipelines for services (according to OWASP Top 10 CI/CD Security Risks).
• Experience in selecting and storing data with SQL and non-SQL storages. AzureDataExploreris preferable.
• Being comfortable communicating with a wide range of people and service owners (engineering managers and software engineers).

• Be comfortable working with Azure Cloud infrastructure (how apps are deployed and authenticated, the app secrets are stored, and how to make sure the service works).
• Independently develop code or scripts that automate the performance of repetitive and easily scalable operations processes (e.g., monitoring, alerting, deploying products and updates) across components and features of productsoperatingat scale.
• Administrate Azure DevOps instance that enables each product engineer to plan, design, develop, test, and deploy their code to test and production environments.
• Identifyopportunities toleverageexisting tools and automation to enable product engineering teams to increase the velocity in which they can reliably and safely implement changes in production.
• Develop, test, and implement changes to optimize code and improve the observability, reliability, and operability of maintained services tied with Azure DevOps instance.
• Drive CI/CD projects. For instance, thousands ofbuildpipelines must be migrated to a common across 2000+ engineers YAML-template.
• Respond to incidents during regular rotations byidentifyingthe level of impact, troubleshooting issues, and deployingappropriate fixesto resolve root cause(s).
