Job description:

Responsible for independently conducting quantitative analytics and modeling projects. Responsible for developing new models, analytic processes or systems approaches. Creates documentation for all activities and works with Technology staff in design of any system to run models developed. Incumbents possess excellent quantitative/analytic skills and a broad knowledge of financial markets and products.

Role Responsibilities:

Responsibilities of this role include working with the global Rates electronic business to research, design and build the trading models and electronic systems for pricing, electronic market making and risk management for the Rates trading desks. This role operates in close co-operation with our partners in e-Trading sales and technology as well as other lines of business across FICC.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelors, Masters/PhD level in a quantitative subject (Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science)
  • Financial markets experience
  • Excellent quantitative skills, coupled with sound knowledge of applied econometric techniques and the ability to work with large datasets
  • Experience in designing and building production trading systems and knowledge of underlying trading infrastructure;
  • Real-time language proficiency (Java/C++)
