CPU Power and Limits Management project:

You will be working with team of industry experts passionate about what they do and ready to impart their knowledge onto you. We have opportunities engineering various aspects of CPU Power, Performance, and Limits management Firmware Development, Verification and Debug.

This intern will be supporting performance management profiling and debug tool development activities for the next generation SoCs.

_Programming Languages: _

  • C/embedded C

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Excellent programming skills in C, Python

  • Sound knowledge of embedded development; RTOS concepts

  • Ability to debug, root cause, and resolve FW issues spanning multiple subsystems in an SoC.  Proven ability to own problems and drive them to a resolution

  • Solid understanding in Computer Architecture/microarchitecture concepts

  • Basic understanding of Microcontroller/Microprocessor programming

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Effective interpersonal communications skill (written and verbal)

  • Analytical, thorough, resourceful and detail-oriented

  • Self-motivated, hardworking, and flexible

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Academic experience with industry standard Architecture / system specification, SoC design, Microcontroller firmware development

  • Experience in JTAG, Debug, Gitlab, and Jira all a plus

Educational Requirements:

  • In study towards a bachelors in one of the following: electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science or related field

  • For 12 or 16 month internships must be available May 2025 - May 2026 or May 2025 - August 2026

  • Must be returning to university after the internship concludes.
