Responsibilities:

  • Assist in development and analysis of strategic product roadmaps, product enhancement and development, product launches, and product marketing to gain maximum benefit from each product, as well as review surveys and analyze competitive industry landscapes to identify relative trends, threats, and opportunities for product managers
  • Participate in day-to-day product management for core products such as product delivery, client experience, and client communication strategies as well as help the team prioritize, negotiate, and remove obstacles to achieve business results
  • Execute client value propositions, positioning, segmentation, pricing, targeting, channel strategies, and competitive differentiation to achieve preferred status as a partner to Citi clients
  • Provide informal guidance or on-the-job training to new team members
  • Oversee client and competitor market research, develop product innovation roadmap, and assist product managers in addressing fundamental trials of product commoditization to create an advanced set of solutions
  • Contribute to achievement of acquisition targets, product financial performance, revenue performance, and expense management goals as well as oversee identification and execution of opportunities and gaps business plans
  • Implement team procedures, client problem resolution, and client management
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of marketing, credit, acquisitions, product development, and/or analytics
  • Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Demonstrated analytical skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree. Master’s degree preferred

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead initiatives to redesign and reengineer the Model Risk Management System (MRMS) in alignment with Citi’s Model Risk Management Policy, Procedures, and broader system strategy.
  • Translate policy and procedural requirements into detailed process flows, system requirements, and actionable project plans, identifying opportunities for streamlining, automation, and enhanced controls.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across Risk, Model Development, Validation, Technology, and Business Management functions to deliver integrated, effective system solutions.
  • Author comprehensive business requirements documents (BRDs) and partner with technology teams to oversee solution design, development, and implementation.
  • Drive system enhancements that simplify model lifecycle management processes, integrate emerging technologies such as Gen AI, and improve risk metrics reporting and documentation digitization.
  • Provide governance over IT project delivery, ensuring initiatives are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with budgetary and strategic objectives.
  • Define and oversee system quality standards, preventive control mechanisms, user acceptance testing (UAT) processes, and end-user training programs.
  • Maintain strong control, governance, and documentation practices in line with Citi standards and regulatory expectations.
Qualifications:Experience:
  • Minimum 6 years of professional experience, including 3+ years in product development, technology-driven system enhancement, or project management roles.
  • Prior experience in model risk management, model development, model validation, or similar risk/control functions within financial institutions strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with regulatory guidance on model risk management, including SR 11-7 and SR 15-18, is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives involving risk management, technology, and process reengineering.
  • Hands-on experience with database design, SQL for analysis, and reporting frameworks.
  • Working knowledge of emerging technologies, including experience building Proofs-of-Concept (POCs) in Python, R, or similar programming languages, is advantageous.
  • Strong project management discipline, with proven ability to manage initiatives through full lifecycle execution.
  • Proficiency in Jira (for backlog management), Confluence (for documentation), and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).

Education:

Master’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline with 6+ years,
OR
Bachelor’s degree with at least 8+ years of highly relevant professional experience.
