We are hiring a Lead Resident Engineer to join a Water Infrastructure project in Eastern Singapore. Main duties:
- Provide technical leadership (Civil) on all related technical, engineering, and contract matters.
- Liaise closely with the Engineering Manager (EM) and design team on the review and approval of contractor submissions including calculations, models, drawings, materials, method statements, workmanship, etc.
- Ensure consistent and thorough submittal reviews of the Contractors’ submissions have been done throughout the submittal approval process.
- Ensure inspection documentation fully complies with local Authorities’ and Project Specification Requirements.
- Ensure that consistent quality standards and conformance with design plans and specifications are maintained across all contracts.
- Keep abreast of Contractors’ progress and performance and provide recommendation for improvements when a gap is identified.
- Lead meetings and discussions with Clients and Contractors.
To be a successful candidate, you shall possess:
- Minimum Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Registration as a Resident Engineer with the BCA and accredited with the Joint Accreditation Committee (JAC) of the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) and the Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in design and construction of large infrastructure projects in Singapore. Experience with PUB projects would be an added advantage.
