Job Description

Oversee Offshore Import Activities:

  • Manage and coordinate the offshore import process for 3rd party deliveries, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all import-related inquiries and issues, acting as a liaison between internal teams and external partners.

Supply Chain Management:

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the supply chain for offshore imports.

  • Maintain strong relationships with exporter, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to facilitate smooth import operations.

  • Monitor and analyze supply chain metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

Revenue Management:

  • Collaborate with finance and sales teams to ensure accurate revenue recognition related to offshore imports.

  • Prepare and present detailed reports on import activities, revenue forecasts, and any discrepancies encountered.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant customs regulations and trade agreements, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of changes in trade laws and practices.

  • Develop and implement training programs for staff on compliance and best practices in foreign trade.

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks in the supply chain and implement mitigation strategies to address them.

  • Conduct regular audits of import activities and supply chain processes to ensure adherence to best practices and compliance standards.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other departments, including logistics, procurement, and quality assurance, to align on objectives and improve overall operational performance.

  • Participate in cross-functional teams to drive projects that enhance the efficiency of the supply chain and improve service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.

  • Experience in foreign trade, import/export operations, or supply chain management, in a leadership role.

  • Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, customs processes, and supply chain best practices.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Growth and innovation mindset.

  • Experience with Cold Chain Management and Anvisa import requirements.

  • Proficiency in Englishat an advanced level is required.

  • Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
