The Supply Chain Services Co-op will support the procurement and supply chain functions by engaging in various tasks related to sourcing, purchasing, and cost analysis. This position will contribute to special projects and participate in cost reduction initiatives.

Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Obtain quotes from suppliers

• Summarize cost comparisons

• Participate in negotiations for pricing and delivery

• Review, support requisitions to ensure appropriate documentation to secure goods or services

• Issue and maintain purchase orders for the business units

• Work with team on special projects and capital purchases

• Maintain and organize files on suppliers, special projects and requisitions that are issued

• Special projects for cost reductions both self-generated and assigned (Progress is reported on a weekly basis)

• Support office with supply of material and maintenance

• Purchasing data analysis with the training on PowerBI provided by company

Our Requirements:

• Willingness to learn

• Open to challenges

• Office Suite skills such as excel, ppt and pb are an asset

• Ability or willingness to travel to various locations around the GTA an asset
