The opportunity
- The position is for a team within EY Global Delivery Services (GDS). The candidate will be supporting the team and will be working with the social media marketing teams to support social media across named EY handles and platforms. This will be end-to-end social media support encompassing all elements of modern-day social media management at a global organization.
- The position is for a Social Media Coordinator role. The Social Media Coordinator candidate will be responsible for managing the brand’s social media channels and communities, engaging users, and ensuring growth across these channels. The candidate will need to actively engage with the business, and other teams to efficiently and timely manage these channels. The candidate will also need to share the content on the channels using the social media tool.
- The candidate will be required to work very closely with marketers, designers, editors, and other approvers to publish relevant, insightful content.
Your key responsibilities
- Work on daily monitoring and engagement of the EY accounts
- Moderate and respond to community activities
- Support with postings on EY accounts
- Efficiently manage EY leaders’ social media profiles.
- Publish shareable social media content through newsletters and reports for amplification
- Copywriting to support various stakeholders.
- Define engagement strategies to grow communities on various social media channels
- Reporting data for social media
- Basic social media listening
- Advice stakeholders on social media management to align with EY guidelines.
- Be updated with the competitor’s social media channels and content flow
- Connect with the brand and other teams as part of the process
- Understand, support, implement, and adhere to the quality standards and procedures established by EY, including verbal and branding guidelines
- Be proactive in foreseeing potential challenges and proposing solutions
Skills and attributes for success
- Outstanding written and oral communication, a generous aptitude to learn the organization’s pattern of communication and our client's motivation
- Ability to build strong relationships with multiple stakeholders across all levels and backgrounds
- Strong organizational skills and experience working on multiple projects simultaneously
- Up-to-date understanding of content trends of all the major social media networks (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube)
- Experience with Social Media Management Systems and employee advocacy tools (e.g., Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Haiilo, Brandwatch, etc.)
- Adept with ORM skills and experience in engaging with users on social media
- Service-oriented, reliable, and accurate way of working
- Distribute engaging content through blogs, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and other channels
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Experience in key topics emerging in the consultancy and digital landscape
- Knowledge and expertise in digital marketing
Ideally, you’ll also have
- A bachelor's degree
- 5-6 years of experience in social media management
- Ability to hit the ground running and pick up new projects and processes quickly
- Experience working successfully within a complex matrix-structured organization is essential
- Experience in coordination & stakeholder management
- Knowledge and experience in influencer marketing
- Good communication skills
- B2B marketing, with experience in professional services or similar industries
- Marketing measurement and analytics knowledge
Technologies and Tools
- Experience with Social Media Management Systems (e.g., Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Brandwatch, etc.)
- MS Office — Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- Tracking social media insights through dashboards like Sprinklr, Facebook insights, Twitter insights, Adobe Experience Manager, etc
