Key job responsibilities
- Lead the functional and technical design of BI solutions, including user interfaces, architecture, and data processing.
- Develop statistical analyses and visualizations for ad-hoc requests and ongoing reporting.
- Troubleshoot data and analysis issues, research root causes, propose solutions, and implement resolutions.
- Create scalable, automated processes for large-scale data analysis and model development.
- Lead end-to-end projects, including data gathering, synthesis, modeling, and communication of insights.
- Participate in strategic planning discussions, gathering requirements, and delivering complete BI solutions.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation, leading change initiatives.
- Ensure best practices in reporting, analysis, data integrity, and documentation.
- Design, write, and manage specifications for reporting and analytical systems.
- Improve the analytics architecture and tools to provide scalable and efficient solutions.
- Build operational plans by aligning objectives and resources with senior leadership and stakeholders.

- 5+ years of SQL experience
- Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets
- Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results
- Experience with AWS technologies
- Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills.
