Job Summary:
As a Unity Product Manager - Senior Associate within our global team, you will be instrumental in delivering key aspects of our product vision & strategy. You will work closely with product managers, UX, technology & data science leads to translate the needs of our users, businesses, and key partners into a strategy that aligns with our program vision. Your role will involve understanding the user journey, developing value propositions, advocating customer needs, identifying and addressing risky assumptions, validating hypotheses, and owning a product from a release-oriented perspective. You will also use data to gain insights about the product & user behaviour and identify improvement opportunities. Your active participation in business demos and effective communication skills will be crucial in managing stakeholder relationships and ensuring successful product rollouts.
Job responsibilities
- Thoroughly understand the user journey and jobs-to-be-done.
- Develop value propositions to alleviate user pains and identify gains.
- Advocate for customer needs within the cross-functional team.
- Proactively address risky assumptions through experimentation and testing.
- Validate hypotheses with rapid experimentation and testing.
- Collaborate with user research and UX design teams for discovery and design.
- Lead product ownership from a release perspective, setting priorities and vision.
- Capture and prioritize user stories with technology, UX, and data science.
- Define and track OKRs to focus on outcomes and value realization.
- Utilize data to gain insights into product and user behavior for improvements.
- Engage with Operations, Client Service, and Marketing for rollout strategy.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Prior experience of Product Management ideally in a large corporation, client service, operational or technology environment
- Experience working in agile teams with UX designers & technologists
- Inquisitive and motivated to solve business problems for users & clients in creative ways
- Confident to question business and technology requirements and solutions respectively
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Logical and structured approach to planning, analysis and decision-making
- Well organized and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Attention to technical detail, seek out potential problem area and follow-up with experts
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Prior experience and understanding of CIB Operations business areas and trade lifecycle knowledge would be an advantage
- Prior experience or working knowledge of web and database technologies preferred
