Description
Be the primary point of contact with vendors and CM partners to establish a daily build plan, and provide clear direction and guidance to meet the program and build objectives.Manage and track engineering development schedules and budgetsIdentify and prioritize project tasks and risksDrive deliveries and issues with global suppliers, integrate their work and schedules into the project, communicate status and the big picture to the project team & managementAs an HW EPM, you will empowered to drive the day-to-day activities to meet the overall project objectives focusing on engineering development, planning and validation of a well-defined process but may be expected to operate in a loosely structured environment and be able to manage ambiguity.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 4-5 years of industry experience.
- Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong technical background in either EE or ME.
- Detail oriented
- Experienced in setting up program/project schedules and work breakdown structures.
- Proactive and highly self-motivated with strong critical thinking capabilities
- Understanding of high-volume manufacturing processes
- Ability to travel - domestic & international (upto 35%)
- B.Tech EE/CE/ME degree required, M.Tech desired
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with portable consumer electronics devices is a plus.
- Program/Project management experience is a plus.
- OEM/ODM management experience is a plus
- Mechatronics background is a plus
